two challenges today!

Yippee...are you as excited as me that it's Friday?!! Only one more sleep till I go to see Michael Buble! I can hardly stand it....mmmm that voice just melts me like butta!! I'm also pretty excited about a night on the town with my hubby!! :)
Ok, Ok...on to card stuff...although I wouldn't mind spending more time on Michael...you will get enough of that after the concert though!! I made this card for today's LSC over at Splitcoast...here are the rules...
only one flower stamp (sentiment optional), No designer paper, No Cuttlebug, No background stamps, Any embellishments, No Rub-ons ... except for sentiments
This wasn't as tricky as I thought is was going to be and it turned out pretty ok. I used one flower & colored it in with my markers to make it more fun. I used a flower ribbon slide on some rose ribbon, added a few brads, some diamond stickles and added the sentiment with close to cocoa. I also sponged the edges to soften it a bit. EAZY PEEZY!!

what's in it?...
stamps...True Friend
paper...kraft, old olive, apricot appeal, whisper white
ink...close to cocoa, markers; old olive, regal rose, apricot appeal
accessories...silver brads, flower ribbon slide, diamond stickles
other...stamp-a-ma-jig, dimensionals, ticket corner punch, sponge
Ok...last card is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge...I love these when I get the opportunity to do them! Isn't she the greatest to do these every week!! I made this card for my new niece Chloe...so MK don't look too close! {of you even have time to blog surf with a new baby!} Pretty straight forward card!
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you all enjoy your weekend!!

what's in it?...
stamps...Big on Spring

paper...whisper white, certainly celery, designer paper (can't remember by who)
ink...pale plum, lavender lace, pixie pink, black, certainly celery
accessories...white brads, pink striped ribbon, star dust stickles

other...stamp-a-ma-jig, dimensionals, blender pen

I tried not to look so close and almost didn't even see the post but Adam is holding baby so I am taking some me time or blog time, whatever.

Both cards are great! I like how you used the ribbon slide on the first one and how you changed the layout to fit a long card on the second one. That baby image is so cute!
