The perfect birthday cake for a guy who doesn't really like chocolate with the exception of 
Hershey Nuggets WITH Almonds!!!! I used the Celebrations paper. I bought 3 different sizes styrofoam discs to adhere the nuggets to. The base is a round cake board that I covered with paper and ribbon. The "ribbons" on the cake are paper. I cut the 35 with my silhouette! (oh how I love that machine!) I ended up using the hot glue gun to stick the nuggets to the styrofoam! 
Turned out cute! A week and a half later...there are only a few nuggets left! I think he liked it!!!
Valentine's Day Class 
Could not be easier!!!! Chocolate Hershey bars wrapped in some cute paper and tied with a ribbon! Choose from an assortment of tags to add a little message!

Kailee's birthday is just around the corner and I made some invites for her to give to her friends. We kept them really simple but I think they are really fun! I am loving the whole banner thing! I am making a big birthday banner to match the cards! The stamp is from Hero Arts and the dsp is from Basic Grey! I LOVE this paper...it's Olivia!!!

If there is anyone even still out there who bothers to check this neglected thing!...HI!! I know it's been months! I have just been so busy that capturing pictures and blogging has dropped to the bottom of my to-do list! I also have been so in love with my new vinyl machine that it takes up alot of time now!! I love it...as previously mentioned! :)
My vinyl project is just a simple too and is a cute and fast way to add some fun when decorating for holidays or seasons. Target always has the cutest plates out. I bought these 2 for just a couple of dollars (and they are plastic...so no breaking!!!) I have just made a cute little saying in the vinyl and put it on my plate and your done! So cute huh!
I thought I would post a birthday card I made since today we are celebrating the Happy Birthday of the U. S. of A.!!!
No time to blog about anything this morning...I am headed out the door {should've been 2 minutes ago} to go on a field trip with Kyler and his class. We are going to Dewberry Farms. Have a fantastic day!!!
Today the kids are home from school...we got sooo much rain last night that the flooding was insane. School is canceled and the kids get a freebie! Shawn and I woke up about 3:45 to look outside cuz the thunder and hail was so loud. The water was half way up our yard. It's all gone now but some people in the Houston area weren't so lucky and they are dealing with much worse!
Here is another one of the cards I made Friday. This one was fun. It took way too long for this little thing....but it was still fun to make! I colored each image with markers and stamped on white cardstock. I cut out each train car and adhered it with dimensionals. I rolled the track in close to cocoa. After cutting all the train cars I didn't feel like cutting out the little puffs of black smoke so I punched them out with my 1/2 in. circle punch. Once I got all the cars on, there wasn't really room for anything else so I added some olive ribbon and I was done!
Yesterday was Kyler's birthday...my baby is 6 I can hardly believe it! Time goes by waaayyyy too fast! I made him a special birthday banner. Instead of doing Happy Birthday, I did his name so he can hang it on his bedroom wall when it finally comes off the the mantle. He loved it! I used the Cosmo Cricket Robot paper I have. I bought a ton of it when it first came out....it is great boy paper! :) The letters are chipboard with white craft ink and some white fun flock on it. It turned out cute and was pretty fast to put together...I did the whole thing yesterday afternoon.
It's 11:00pm and I can't sleep! So when I can't sleep...it's a perfect time to get my blogging done! :) I went crazy making Milk Cartons these last few days. Now that I have made a few I am getting faster at them. It's not to bad once I set up a little assembly line for myself. I even had to go to the doctor on Tuesday and took some things with me...I got a lot done while I was in the waiting room! :)
Can you believe it? I actually stamped a card! I have been stamping and doing other projects but it has been almost a month since I just sat down and stamped a card! {I didn't realize it had been that long till I just now looked!} WOW! Anyway...the other night I all of the sudden became extremely impatient and irritated that I didn't have my Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. {it's coming...UPS just isn't coming fast enough} So I cased the card that is in the Stampin' Up! Catalog next to that stamp set {pg. 106} using another set, Embrace Life. I love the green, blue and brown combo. The "birthday" sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set. I can't wait to get my order so I can make some gorgeous card with that 5th ave. set!!! :)
While you are waiting, anxiously I am sure, to see the rest of the project I am working on. {see post below} I have something else to share with you. Shawners was out of town this year for his birthday. He was in Indonesia. We are going to be celebrating when he gets home tomorrow. Shawn isn't big on sweets...he really doesn't care for chocolate! I KNOW, I KNOW, it's painful even to type. I should've been more thorough in my question asking session before I agreed to the "I DO's" :) See what happens when you are twitterpated and the man you love asks him to marry you? You forget about the importance of some things! Oh well...we've come to far now! :) So he isn't big into having the traditional birthday cake. I found this in my google wandering {don't you love Google?...I could not live without it} He does love the Hershey Nuggets with Almonds though. He likes them cold from the freezer so he doesn't taste as much of the chocolate. I thought this year this would be a fun cake for him to have. He can have it all to himself and I even made a home for it in the freezer so he can enjoy it the way he likes it! The was simple to make. Just wrapping, and gluing and decorating. I used an old Simply Scrap Kit that I had left. I don't remember the name of it. I used toothpicks for some of the decorations to stand out a little. The paper curls I just wrapped around my stylus and then played with till they looked good to me. The candy is glued to styrofoam circles I got at the craft store.
I hope ya'll had a fabulous Christmas!!! We sure did! I have been sick and so that's why there have been no posts! I just can't seem to shake off whatever it is I have! I have had it for a little over a week now. I haven't had a chance to stamp anything in forever! Shawners and the boys are leaving in the morning to go camping for 3 days and Kailee is in Seattle...so I have 3 days to myself, in a quiet house to do whatever I want!! Obviously there will be lots of stamping time!!! :) In the meantime I thought I would share these backpacks I made for Kailee's birthday party. These were the invites! It was a sleepover party...so I thought the backpacks would be fun. I found wonderful instructions at Becky's blog...Inking Idaho. Hope you are all

Can you believe it is the 16th of December? I can't...seems like every time I mark off one thing on my to do list to get ready for the holidays...3 more things get added!!
