Cupcake Birthday

Good Sunday afternoon...hope you have all been enjoying your weekend! I have had a cold so I spent most of yesterday in bed just feeling terrible but now I am feeling slightly better! I was able to go last night to a special choir concert that Kailee was in. **Proud Mom moment here--->she was in the Region Choir, she was one of about 200 in the choir and those 200 were chosen after over 700 kids auditioned. It was a beautiful concert...the music was wonderful...if you weren't looking at them you would've never guessed that those were 7th & 8th graders singing! They were awesome! We were very proud of her!**
Anyway...back to some stampalicious card schtuff! I have had this set and haven't gotten a chance to ink up much. I stamped the image in black StazOn and colored it in with my blender pens and ink pads. The paper came from a few of the extra sheets that were in with the new Country Living Holiday Collection chipboard ornaments. I added stickles to the frosting of the cupcakes and crystal effects on the cherries.
Well...I am gonna go have an early dinner with the fam and then we are going to a friends house. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
chat at ya later!
what's in it?...
stamps...Crazy for Cupcakes
paper...baja breeze, old olive, whisper white, dsp from Country Living Collection
ink...black StazOn, baja breeze, old olive, real red
accessories...riding hood red striped ribbon, silver brads, diamond stickles, crystal effects
other...scallop edge punch, oval punch, blender pens, dimensionals, distresser, paper piercer, stamp-a-ma-jig

What a bright, fun card!! You can't beat polka dots and glitz, it's a killer cute combo! Congrats on your daughter and her concert, that is BIG!!

I wish this card was real--those cupcakes are tempting and oh so cute. Love the polka dots, the ribbons and the different color accents you used. Seriously, one of the best cards I've seen you do.

YEA for Kailee!
