It's great to be 8!

As promised...snapped a few pictures!! I am so in love with my camera...it might be a little bit wrong! I am sooo excited thinking about the awesome pictures I am going to be able to get of Kailee and Tyson in their Wizard of Oz performances next week!!! I am also excited to take more pictures of the things I have been working on!
Alrightee then...on to these invites. In our church the children are baptized when they are 8 yrs old. We wait till the child is 8 because we believe it is the age of accountability. At the beginning of every year we invite all the kids who will be turning 8 this year to a Baptism Preview. We talk about baptism, what it means, answer questions, things like that. These are the invites I made for the kids and their parents. I made some pink ones for the girls and blue ones for the boys. I think they turned out cute. The image is from some clipart I printed off my computer. I used the retired Crew Girl and Crew Boy Scrap Kit papers.
Oh my heavens...it's 11:30! I have to be up early tomorrow...chat at ya later!
Thanks for coming by!
what's in it?...

Where did you get the clip art? My son just turned 8 in November and was baptized 3 weeks ago. I would love to use this to scrapbook some photos. Thanks!

I am so wishing I had something like this last April when my son was baptized! Absolutely darling! I love it! super fun for both the girls and the boys! I am now the teacher of the 7 year olds who are preparing for baptism. I think that I may need to check this out! Darling! Congrats on the new camera, too! I am wishing for one! Maybe one of these days! TFS

Where did you get the clip art from? We live in a remote part of Japan (US Military Base) and we just don't have many options for creative church things

These are so PERFECT!! I was just thinking about what I could use to make a cute card for one of the girls entering the Faith in God program.. Will you email me and give me the link to the images? I've been looking and haven't found any that are as cute as these.. Hugs- Tiff
