A Summer Banner

I had to laugh as I started to post this...it is so like me to wait till summer is almost over to show you the banner I made for "summer". Here we are 4 days till school starts and I am just now getting around to taking pics and posting about this!! It has been the busiest summer we have ever had! Fun, but super busy! So forgive me...I really hope to show you the fall one I want to make in the fall, not in like in January or something! :)
I used a Scrap Kit for this banner. I loved the bright colors in the kit and thought they were perfect summery colors. The letters are printed from the computer from one of my fonts. I cut out each one and then glued and glittered section by section....it took forever and I was covered in glitter for about 3 days! It turned out cute though, so it was worth it!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Tomorrow starts our tax-free weekend so the kids and I are getting up early to head out school clothes shopping. We are hoping to avoid some of the crowds by going early! Monday is the day...boy school snuck up on me this year!!!
chat at ya later!
what's in it?...
paper...tempting turquoise, pumpkin pie, old olive, pink passion, white, Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit
