girly & boyish

I have 2 cards to show you today! I couldn't sleep again last night (it happens when my hubby is out of town...hard to sleep...although I love having the whole bed to myself and sprawling out right in the middle!!) Anyway...I was able to get 2 cards finished. One a little girly and one a little boyish. I have been wanting to use my boat again but make it more girly! So I did...I used a pink instead of red and added lots and lots of sparkle. I also wanted to use that cute heart being tugged along behind! I used my Cuttlebug again...I used a new swirl folder I just got. I did some piercing, added a ribbon & brads and I was done.
what's in it?...
stamps...Boatloads of Love
paper...regal rose, wild wasabi, barley banana & whisper white
ink...basic black, regal rose, wild wasabi, barley banana, bashful blue & gray
accessories...soft subtle brads, polka dot regal rose colored ribbon, staple, crystal stickles
other stuff...Cuttlebug & swirl embossing folder, paper piercer, blender pens, stamp-a-ma-jig
I am loving the whole wild west theme goin' on all around me! I thought I would really have to work hard to use this set but I love it...it is soooo fun to use...I keep thinking of fun things to do with it! Plus...doesn't this cowboy just make ridin' look cool!! I did lots of distressing and sponging to make it look weathered! I wanted to make it all in browns too. Have a fabulous Tuesday! :)
what's in it?... stamps...Bronc Buster
paper...chocolate chip, close to cocoa, creamy caramel, very vanilla
ink...chocolate chip, close to cocoa, creamy caramel
accessories...brads, twill tape
other...cutter kit, sponges, blender pen
