a card for wednesday

I finally got a chance to stamp just because for a minute this afternoon!! I have had so many projects to do that I haven't had much time to stamp just cuz for a while! I did the sketch challenge at Splitcoast. This was a different one for me...probably not one I would have ever done on my own but since the challenge was there...I took it! I think it turned out ok! I don't have the stamp set that coordinates with this gorgeous paper so I decided not to stamp and just use paper. I cut out a flower from the paper with my circle punch. I also cut out a leaf and a butterfly. I added 3 brads to the middle of the flower and then covered the flower with crystal effects. I used my new color spritzer too but it's hard to tell. I used it one the guava paper...it's a fun tool to use...I am gonna have to play more with this one! I was gonna be brave and try sewing on this card cuz I got the mini sewing machine that is all the rage this weekend...but then I wimped out cuz the card was turning out good and I didn't want to mess it up!!
Anyway...have a wonderful Wednesday...I am waiting for Mr. Brown to come!!
what's in it?...
paper...chocolate chip, wild wasabi, groovy guava, Afternoon Tea dsp
ink...chocolate chip

accessories...guava ds ribbon, crystal effects, pewter brads
other...sponge, circle & scallop punch, color spritzer, dimensionals
